Does Travelocity charge your credit card right away?
Travelocity charges credit card immediately. I’m not too thrilled with that, especially if the property offers “free cancellation.” First they charge you right away and then you have to wait a few days to get that credited back to your card. If you’re using a debit card, that nails your bank account.

How do you get your plane tickets from Travelocity?

When you book a hotel when are you charged?
In fact 90% of our reservations do not require an advance payment of any sort. You simply pay the hotel when you arrive or check out. When you are charged a deposit for a reservation, your credit card is charged by the hotel, not by HotelGuides.

Is it better to book through airline or Expedia?
I use Expedia occasionally to book international flights as they can be cheaper than the airline. No big issues. Usually you can request a seat at booking but end up calling the airline or going to their website after booking to confirm. And some airlines don’t allow advance seat selection or charge for it.
